MILLWALL are hopeful of completing a deal for Jed Wallace this week.
The club have agreed a fee with Wolves and Wallace could become a permanent Lions player before the start of pre-season training next Monday.
Wallace has enjoyed two loan spells at Millwall in the last two seasons, the second concluding with the 1-0 win over Bradford in the League One play-off final in May.
Former Portsmouth midfielder Wallace, 23, has scored four goals in 35 games for Millwall and has been a big hit with Lions fans.
He has made no secret of how much he has enjoyed his time in south London, and a permanent transfer could be confirmed soon.
Lions boss Neil Harris said: “We’re hoping for positive news on Jed this week.”
