MILLWALL are continuing to pursue a deal to sign Jed Wallace from Wolves.
Wallace, 23, was on loan with the Lions from January and played in the League One play-off final win over Bradford.
It was Wallace’s second loan spell at the club and Millwall want to secure the winger on a permanent deal.
Millwall have started their summer transfer business early, with James Meredith and Tom Elliott set to join the club after they pass their medicals.
Millwall chief executive Steve Kavanagh said the club are “very busy” trying to secure transfer targets.
“We have an option on him,” Kavanagh said about the possibility of signing Wallace. “We’re looking at that.
“As and when there’s information on players we’re going to release it but we’re going to [work on deals] behind closed doors.
“That includes Jed and any other player we’re targeting.
“We’re considering all options. Having got promoted we had various plans in place anyway and we’re now acting on those.
“We’re very busy.”
