Millwall boss Harris names contract rebel's price

MILLWALL boss Neil Harris said the club "can't do any more" in their efforts to secure Fred Onyedinma on a long-term deal.

Onyedinma's current contract runs out this summer and he has so far refused to sign a new one. Because he is under 20 years of age and has been offered a new contract, Millwall would be entitled to compensation set by a tribunal, which Harris believes should be "a million and above".

Speaking at the Fans' Forum at The Den on Thursday night, Harris again expressed his frustration at the nature of negotiations.

"We can't do any more," he said. "It takes two parties.

"Agents do the talking. I find it strange players don't want to talk themselves about the most important things in their lives."
