Millwall's Moro could make return this week

STEVE Morison is unlikely to be fit for Millwall’s game against Peterborough on Tuesday night.

Morison missed his second successive game as Millwall failed to score for the second game in a row as Lee Gregory missed two penalties in the last five minutes of the 0-0 draw at Oldham Athletic on Saturday.

Morison travelled with the squad to Boundary Park, and was seen on the pitch before the game with assistant manager Dave Livermore overseeing his team-mates’ warm-up.

Millwall were also without Jordan Archer and Jed Wallace against Oldham. Lions boss Neil Harris didn’t say how long Archer’s quad injury will keep him out. But Wallace could be back this week.

Harris said Morison was close to being fit at the weekend, but he won’t take any risks with his top scorer.

“Steve came on the journey with us,” Harris said. “We gave him every opportunity to be fit but he wasn’t quite right. Himself and Jed might have more of an opportunity for Saturday than Tuesday.

“But you want him to be part of it and you want him to be in the dressing room.

“Jordan has no chance this week.”
