MILLWALL have been handed a daunting tie at Tottenham Hotspur in the quarter-final of the FA Cup.
The Lions have already knocked three Premier League sides out of the competition, and will travel to White Hart Lane the weekend of March 11.
Neil Harris’ side beat Premier League champions Leicester City on Saturday to secure their place in the last eight for the first time in four years.
Mauricio Pochettino picked a near full-strength Spurs side on Sunday as Harry Kane – who scored nine goals in 27 games on loan at Millwall in 2011-12 – scored a hat-trick in their 3-0 win at Fulham.
The clubs have met 78 times, with Millwall winning 21 games to Spurs’ 45. Their last meeting was a 1-0 win for Tottenham at The Den in 1990.
They have met three times in the FA Cup: Tottenham defeated Millwall 2-1 in 1911, before also emerging victorious in a first-round replay in 1967.
