MILLWALL have been offered the chance to run the rule over young Celtic midfielder Timothy Mjällby.
The Sweden U19 international has been highly recommended to first team coach Tim Breacker by his Bhoys counterpart Garry Parker.
Breacker, who was appointed to Kenny Jackett's backroom staff over the summer, knows Parker from their playing days together at Luton Town during the 1980s.
Reports in Sweden earlier this week suggested Mjällby could be set to sign for Millwall imminently, but NewsAtDen understands the 17-year-old is merely a player on the club's radar, though he may join on an initial trial period.
The left midfielder is the son of former Sweden international Johan Mjällby, who made 49 appearances for his country and featured in Euro 2000, World Cup 2002 and Euro 2004.
Mjällby senior is currently Neil Lennon's assistant at Celtic Park after retiring in 2006.
