PAUL Robinson and Tamika Mkandawire will make their returns from long injury lay-offs when they turn out for Millwall's U21s against Barnet on Tuesday.

The Lions' development squad face their Bees counterparts at The Den tomorrow afternoon (1pm kick-off), and Robinson and Mkandawire are set to be included as two of the three allowed over-age players.

The upcoming international break has provided Kenny Jackett with the ideal opportunity to get his walking wounded back to full-fitness before the trip to Hull City on September 15.

Jack Smith, who suffered a thigh injury against Blackpool on the opening day of the season, is expected to return in time to face the Tigers.

But Jackett expressed concern over Liam Feeney's fitness after the winger picked up a knock during the 3-1 win over Middlesbrough on Saturday.

However, the Millwall boss confirmed that Darius Henderson's substitution at half-time against the Teessiders was a tactical decision and not enforced by injury.

"It was just my choice," he said. "I felt we would need Shaun Batt's pace on the break to get in behind their defence.

"Liam got a really bad tackle and was limping at the end, but I'm hoping that, if there's a problem, it can be cleared up in two weeks.

"We had a long pre-season and were very thorough, and got through to the start of the season with the vast majority of people being fit and available. We have 23 senior players in the squad and we don't have too many injuries.

"Robison has been out but will play in the development game and when the Championship games come around again, he will be available along with Smith. Those two will definitely be good additions to the squad."
