MILLWALL want to bring Jed Wallace back to The Den during January’s transfer window, NewsAtDen understands.
Wolves winger Wallace, 22, played 14 times for Millwall and scored one goal during a loan spell at the club last season.
He was an instant hit with Lions fans after making his debut in a 2-1 win at Oldham in January, before he was recalled early from his three-month loan deal by Wolves boss Kenny Jackett.
Millwall manager Neil Harris signed Chris Taylor as his replacement last March before David Worrall arrived during the summer.
Wallace made four appearances for Wolves following his return to Molineux last season. However, he has started just nine of Wolves’ 22 games in this campaign and has featured just once since Paul Lambert took over from the sacked Walter Zenga in early November.
NewsAtDen understands that Wolves are open to another loan move for Wallace, and that Millwall face competition from south London rivals Charlton for his signature.
Wallace made no secret of how much he enjoyed his time with Millwall last season, and Harris now wants the former Portsmouth player back to help the Lions’ promotion push in the second half of the season.
Thanks for all the messages! Great times at @MillwallFC with a top class bunch of lads. Really hoping for promotion now. See you again ????
