Philpot returns to Millwall – but set for spell out

JAMIE Philpot’s loan deal at Bromley ends today, but the striker is set for a spell on the sidelines with an injury.

Philpot, 20, scored in Millwall U23s’ 1-1 draw with Cardiff at The Den on Monday, but he limped off in the second half.

Philpot played three times for National League Bromley during his 28-day loan.

Manager Neil Harris said: “Jamie’s one of the young lads that when they go on loan they can still play for us. He didn’t start for Bromley at the weekend so it was vital he got minutes for us on Monday.

“It looks like now he’s going to be out for a period of time with ankle damage.”
