Millwall rout QPR as ex-Brazil international sees red

MILLWALL'S Development Squad hammered QPR 5-1 in a game that saw former Brazilian international Sandro sent off after a clash with Harry Donovan.

Former Tottenham midfielder Sandro and ex-Gunner Donovan were involved in an altercation just before half-time with the Lions already 3-1 ahead and on their way to their fourth successive Professional Development League win.

Noah Chesmain and Kris Twardek put Millwall two goals up before Mide Shodipo pulled one back.

Striker Harry Smith (above) marked his return from injury by making it 3-1, his fourth goal of the season, before the home side were reduced to 10 men.

Christian Mbulu and Alfie Pavey completed the rout at QPR's Harlington training ground.

There was further good news for Millwall as Shaun Hutchinson and Shaun Cummings again played and they should be in contention to feature for the first team at Oxford this weekend.

Millwall: 4-4-2: Tom King; Shaun Cummings, Sid Nelson, Shaun Hutchinson, Noah Chesmain; Kris Twardek, Harry Donovan, Kyron Farrell, Gregg Wylde; Harry Smith, Alfie Pavey.
