IT WAS a mixed bank holiday weekend for Alfie Pavey, whose Bromley side won 4-1 at Guiseley on Saturday but then completely collapsed to lose 5-0 at home to Eastleigh on Monday afternoon.
Pavey played up front in both games as Bromley’s hugely inconsistent start to the season leaves them in 19th place in the table with seven points from seven games.
David Forde kept his third clean sheet in four games as Gary Roberts’ late goal gave Portsmouth a 1-0 win at Exeter on Saturday. They are in eighth place in League Two.
After the disappointment of missing out on the Republic of Ireland’s squad for Euro 2016, Forde is still committed to international football and, following Shay Given’s retirement, he is back in the fold for games against Oman and Serbia this week.
Meanwhile, Paris Cowan-Hall has yet to make an appearance for Wycombe Wanderers this season.
