MILLWALL have signed Calum Butcher on a two-year deal from Burton Albion.
The 25-year-old midfielder becomes Lions boss Neil Harris' fifth summer signing and will be available to face Chesterfield this weekend.
Butcher played for Burton in their 5-0 defeat to Liverpool in the second round of the League Cup on Tuesday night before travelling to London to finalise his move.
He was at Millwall's training ground on Thursday morning and will boost Harris' midfield celexa options ahead of the trip to Proact Stadium on Saturday.
Rochford-born Butcher came through the youth system at Tottenham before joining FC Hjørring in Denmark. He moved back to England to play for Hayes and Yeading United before a two-year spell in Scottish football with Dundee United.
He joined Burton in June 2015 and played twice against Millwall last season.
Butcher featured 46 times for Burton, scoring six goals.
