Harris expects Millwall to be better next season

MILLWALL manager Neil Harris has already told his players what he expects from them in pre-season and the new campaign come August 6.

The current crop of players were told what Harris expects from them this coming season immediately following the League One play-off final defeat to Barnsley in May.

And the Den boss has made no promises as he looks ahead to "hard, serious work" during the weeks leading up to the start of the new season.

“I made my feelings clear in the dressing room after the game at Wembley," Harris said. "I have told them exactly what I expect from them.

“I expect us to be better than last year – I expect myself and my staff to be better, as well as the players.

“There are no promises form us, apart laparkan.com/buy-accutane/ from a real Millwall team that’ll be consistent and continue to try and be strong at home.

“The players are all back in July 1, I’m giving them an extra couple days off to fully recharge after getting to Wembley.

“They’ll know what they are going to get when they come back, it'll be hard, serious work.

"We will train at the training ground two or three times a day to make us a better team.

“It will be an enjoyable working environment and we will go to Portugal during pre-season, like we did last year, to bond and to work hard.

“Then we will look forward to the pre-season fixtures, capping it off with a well-earned testimonial for Tony Craig on July 30 against Brentford at The Den.”
