KENNY Jackett expects his players to rise to the occasion when Millwall travel to Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship on Saturday.

A crowd in excess of 25,000 is expected at Hillsborough for the Lions' trip to the Steel City and Jackett believes the confidence gained from the midweek win at Peterborough will stand his side in good stead.

"We're really looking forward to the game," he said. "It'll be a big game and we'll see a fantastic atmosphere there.

"They are just back in the Championship and trying to make their mark again. It's the type of game and atmosphere we're in this league for.

"The fans and players should have some confidence after the Peterborough win that we can go there and do well."
