MILLWALL CLUB captain Tony Craig has paid tribute to Steve Morison for the job he has done since taking over skipper duties last November.
Morison was given the armband by Lions boss Neil Harris after Craig injured his knee against this weekend’s opponents Bradford in the scoreless draw between the sides at the end of October.
The injury ruled him out for almost six months before Craig returned to the first team against Bury and then came on for the dramatic montauk-monster.com/pharmacy/paxil final stages against Gillingham last weekend.
Defender Craig knows it will be tough to regain a starting spot, but was full of praise for the role Morison has played.
“Since Steve’s been the captain he’s done exceptionally well,” Craig said. “He has taken on the responsibility brilliantly and I think it’s brought him on as a player and a person.
“The gaffer’s got to pick the team, he’s got a lot of decisions to make. We’ve had a very settled side recently.”
