THERE was disappointment for Millwall goalkeeper Tom King as Braintree missed out on a shot at promotion to the Football League after they lost 2-1 on aggregate to Grimsby in their National League play-off semi-final.
Braintree had taken a 1-0 lead into Sunday's second leg, but Padraig Amond's 75th-minute penalty levelled the tie.
And in front of Braintree's biggest crowd in 64 years, Omar Bogle headed home in the 110th minute to give his side a 2-0 win, giving Grimsby's a chance to end a six-year absence from League Two.
No words can accurately describe the feeling at the minute. Loved every minute being a part of such a great group of lads. @braintreetownfc
