MILLWALL travel to Peterborough United on Tuesday evening still looking for their first victory of the new campaign.

The Lions could be without the services of full-back Jack Smith, who is doubtful after sustaining a thigh injury in Saturday’s 2-0 defeat to Blackpool.

Right-back Alan Dunne is expected to deputise after a solid substitute appearance against the Tangerines, with Shane Lowry set to continue at left-back.

Winger Chris Taylor, who was surprisingly dropped from the squad for Millwall's Championship-opener, is tipped to earn a recall following an impressive pre-season.

The Lions continue to be without skipper Paul Robinson and versatile Tamika Mkandawire, although the injured duo are edging closer to fitness.

Frontman Shaun diclofenac Batt will be pushing for an appearance against his former club having been an unused substitute against Blackpool.

Peterborough are boosted by the return to fitness of Daniel Kearns, who should be involved again following a knee injury sustained in pre-season.

Striker Tyrone Barnett, who has a hamstring problem, is rated as doubtful but winger Nathaniel Mendez Laing is definitely out.

However, frontman Emile Sinclair could start having made his first appearance of the season in Posh's 2-0 defeat to Leicester City following an ankle operation in the summer.

Defender Tommy Rowe (collarbone) and forward David Hibbert (knee) are both unavailable.

Former Millwall trainee Michael Bostwick is expected to start in midfield following his summer move from Stevenage.
