MILLWALL aren’t ruling 40-goal strike duo Lee Gregory and Steve Morison out of this weekend’s Sky Bet League One fixture against Bury at Gigg Lane.
Shane Ferguson is also a doubt with the thigh injury he picked up against Coventry so boss Neil Harris could hand starts to Jamie Philpot and Fred Onyedinma.
Gregory went off at half-time in the 1-0 win over Fleetwood on Tuesday night and Morison was substituted with 20 minutes left with a hamstring problem. All three will be assessed right up to kick-off on Saturday afternoon.
Harris has no injury worries in defence. Millwall have kept nine clean sheets in their last 15 games, though they needed an added-time intervention from Jordan Archer after Fleetwood’s Wes Burns had found space behind the back four to threaten an equaliser.
Archer’s form since winning his place back from David Forde in January has been consistent, though Harris wasn’t getting carried away in his praise of the goalkeeper this week.
“He made some excellent saves but if I’m being callous I’d say that’s what he’s on the pitch for, to make saves,” Harris said. “He stood strong and he showed his shot-stopping ability. When you work so hard and you’re playing against good players who will get shooting opportunities you sometimes need to really on your goalkeeper. Jordan was a very reliable young man.”
Bury secured their League One status last Saturday when Danny Mayor’s goal gave them a 1-0 win at Swindon.
David Flitcroft’s side have won only two of their last nine games, but they have lost just once in nine league games at home since January.
