CLUB captain Tony Craig is available for Millwall’s Sky Bet League One clash with Coventry City next Saturday.

Craig played 90 minutes for Justin Skinner’s Elite Development Squad and scored as they came from a goal down to defeat Barnsley 4-2 in their league contest at The Den on Monday afternoon.

The 30-year-old defender hasn’t played for the first team for over five months since suffering a serious knee injury against Bradford on October 31.

But he has been building up his match sharpness with the U21s, and has reported no setbacks as he gets closer to a first-team comeback.

“Tony played the full match against Barnsley and came through it well,” Lions boss Neil Harris said. He’s done a lot of physical work, he’s been joining in with training for the last four weeks now.

“He’s played 45, 60, 45 and 90 minutes for the U21s. He’d be the first to admit that he’s still going to be a little bit rusty, but he’s completed the minutes to be ready for first-team action.”
