NEIL HARRIS says Millwall players who are out of contract this summer haven't been approached by other clubs.
First-team regulars Mark Beevers, Joe Martin and Byron Webster are all on deals that will expire after this season finishes, while Ed Upson and Carlos Edwards have also yet to have their Lions futures decided.
John Marquis, Lee Martin and Jack Powell, who are all currently out on loan, are not expected to be offered new deals.
Millwall have secured a number of their younger players such as Ben Thompson, Mahlon Romeo and Aiden O’Brien on long-term contracts this season, with discussions set to take place over deals for several other squad members.
But Harris is relaxed about those negotiations.
“We’ve had no one coming in to take our players,” Harris said. “Obviously we’ve had a lot of enquiries to take our players on loan during the course of the season.
“We’ve let players out on loan at the right time to get experience and some have gone out on loan because myself or the player have agreed that their long-term future doesn’t lie with us. So we give them the opportunity to go and prove themselves and earn a contract somewhere else.
“Mark, like Carlos, is one of a number of players in the first-team squad that are out of contract that we’ll sit down with at the end of the season to discuss their futures.”
