NEW signing Chris Taylor could make his second debut for Millwall this weekend in the Sky Bet League One clash with Sheffield United at The Den.
Taylor completed his loan move from Blackburn Rovers on Thursday and could start on the right side of midfield with Jed Wallace having returned to Wolves.
Boss Neil Harris’ defensive options are boosted by the return from suspension of left-back Joe Martin, who could take Carlos Edwards’ place in the starting XI.
There are unlikely to be any other changes to the side as the Lions look to complete a league double over Sheffield United this season after Aiden O’Brien’s brace gave them a 2-1 win at Bramall Lane in October.
Lee Gregory and Steve Morison will continue the partnership that has yielded 20 goals in 15 games in 2016.
Morison has scored 15 goals so far this season and is determined to beat the total he got in the regular league season in 2009-10.
“I’ve been in this league once before and I managed to get 20 goals,” Morison said. “I’d like to do that again. I just keep ticking the games off and hopefully I can keep getting the goals and we get the results.
“It’s all about trying to get in the play-offs and cementing our place in the top six to prolong our season.”
The Blades started the season as favourites for the League One title but have been one of the most inconsistent sides in the division this campaign.
They defeated Oldham 3-0 last weekend to move to within six points of the top six with United boss Nigel Adkins claiming a recent switch to a 3-5-2 formation has sparked his side’s revival.
Adkins could have Florent Cuvelier and Chris Basham available again after injury.
