JORDAN Archer has been named Sky Bet League One player of the month for February.
The Millwall goalkeeper kept three clean sheets in five league games during the month and also distinguished himself with an audacious headed save to keep out Mark Beevers' back-pass in the 3-0 win over Peterborough on February 20.
Archer has become a popular player with Lions fans since he joined the club from Tottenham last summer. The 22-year-old has played 35 times this season, keeping 15 clean sheets.
Archer lost his place briefly to David Forde after he was sent off against Gillingham in December, but he has been flawless since his return to the side.
Archer beat Swindon’s Nicky Ajose, Bradford’s James Hanson and Alfie Mawson of Barnsley to the award.
He is the second Millwall player to receive the award this season, after Aiden O’Brien’s form in October was recognised by the Football League.
Wigan's Gary Caldwell was named League One manager of the month for February.
