NEITHER John Marquis nor Lee Martin could break the deadlock as Northampton's ten-game winning streak came to an end after a 0-0 draw at Hartlepool.

Martin had an early chance to put his side ahead but his shot was saved by Trevor Carson as the Cobblers had to settle for a point which leaves them ten points clear at the top of League Two.

Lions youngsters Noah Chesmain and Alfie Pavey came up against each other in the National League, and it was the striker who had the bragging rights after Aldershot's 1-0 win at Welling.

Meanwhile, Tom King was involved in one of the more generic lexapro forum bizarre goals of the weekend when Guiseley's Ollie Norburn, instead of giving the ball back after it was put out of play following an injury, lobbed the on-loan Millwall goalkeeper from 45 yards. The goal cancelled out Michael Cheek's opener for Braintree.

A five-minute delay followed while referee Tom Nield consulted with his linesman and had a word with both benches, but in such circumstances the officials cannot reverse the outcome. The game finished 1-1 and afterwards Braintree boss Danny Cowley called it "the worst thing (he had) seen on a football pitch".
