MILLWALL attacker Aiden O’Brien has signed a new contract with the club until June 2019.
O’Brien only put pen to paper on a two-year deal last summer when Millwall secured the futures of a number of their young stars, but with the former Republic of Ireland underage international's fine form this season the Lions have moved to extend his contract.
The 22-year-old has scored 10 goals this season and has attracted interested from Championship and Premier League clubs.
But O’Brien has always affirmed that he sees his future with the club that gave him his chance in professional football.
Millwall manager Neil Harris told the club’s official website: "Aiden was desperate to stay here long-term and given that he has been one of the key performers this year everyone at the club is pleased that the deal is signed.
"It is great business both ways and we look forward to Aiden being a success in a Millwall shirt for years to come."
