Update: NewsAtDen magazine available from shop

NAD Magazine Ad-article

THERE have been some issues with our NewsAtDen magazine recently which relate to the digital platforms on which to best make it available.

As a consequence, we have decided not to use the publishers or use the app, but the magazine will continue with a few changes.

Where to download and view the magazine

The magazine can now be bought directly from our store at shop.newsatden.co.uk and you will receive confirmation emails with a link to view the chosen issue. The magazine will be hosted by ISSUU and the link can be opened and viewed on any device thanks to their in-built Mobile HTML reader so it looks and feels like it was intended, and not a flat PDF. Just open your emails in your chosen device and click on the link in our purchase notes.

The link is only accessible once purchased so you won’t be able to access the magazine by going straight to ISSUU.

Issues 14 & 15 are available on the store at shop.newsatden.co.uk for free, if you wish to test out the service.

This was a frustrating element of the previous process because, though we got a nice app and had ease of use, Apple and the digital publishers wanted a high percentage of the cover price. Even we felt £2.29 per issue was too high, and of that we would only receive 99p.

By having the magazine available this way, we can now reduce the cover price from £2.29 to just £1 per issue, which we feel is fair, and continue to add exclusive content so that you get more Millwall news and interviews here than anywhere else.

We are also taking on more contributors, and we will have a new feature in the coming weeks where fans can send in questions to Millwall manager, Neil Harris, the answers to which will be published in the magazine. As such, the magazine caters for avid NewsAtDen readers with exclusive content not on the website, and those that don’t get a chance to visit the website during the week can catch up with featured articles from NewsAtDen.

When is it available?

Instead of only being available from Saturday mornings, the magazine will now be available from Friday evenings.

Thank you for your patience at this time, and we hope this clears up any confusion over the last few weeks.

Also congratulations to Nick Wythe, our winner of the hospitality box for Millwall against Walsall on Boxing Day. Thank you to all who entered.
