JIMMY Abdou got more competitive minutes under his belt on Monday night as Millwall U21s recorded an impressive 1-0 win at Watford.
The prolific Mikael Ndjoli scored early in the second half to give Justin Skinner’s youngsters the win that keeps the pressure on leaders Charlton in the Professional Development League 2.
Abdou hasn’t started a game for the senior team since damaging his collarbone in October.
But he was part of a strong side that included the likes of Keaton Wood, Noah Chesmain, Mahlon Romeo and Alfie Pavey, all of whom have featured in the Lions’ senior squad this season.
Abdou, 31, could be in contention to play a part against Gillingham in the Sky Bet League One clash next weekend.
