Millwall confirm captain Craig unlikely to return this season

MILLWALL have said it will be a “bonus” if injured skipper Tony Craig returns before the end of the season.
Craig had surgery last week on the knee injury he suffered when he tackled Bradford’s James Hanson in the 0-0 draw with Bradford at The Den earlier this month.
And Millwall physio Bobby Bacic today revealed he is unlikely to return this campaign. He told the club’s official website: "Tony underwent surgery on his left knee last week.
"The surgeon undertook a detailed procedure which involved repairing both ligaments and muscles.
"Tony will remain on crutches and in a brace for six weeks to begin with and his is classed as a long-term injury.
"If Tony returns before the end of the season we will regard this as a bonus."
