Bouazza only signed for the Cypriot outfit in June following his release by the Lions, but a dispute regarding time spent away from the club to be with his ill father has resulted in the two parties going their separate ways.
The 27-year-old now says he could join a club in England.
"I apologised for not having warned the club about leaving [to see my father] and we decided quickly and quietly to terminate my contract," he told Algerian football newspaper Compétition.
"I leave Omonia Nicosia amicably with the assurance that the club will not trouble me.
"I expect to bounce back at another club, either in England or elsewhere in Europe. I have no concern for my future."
