GILLINGHAM have reportedly offered Millwall striker John Marquis a two-year deal.
The 23-year-old signed on loan for the Gills last January and went on to score eight goals in 18 starts for Justin Edinburgh's side.
The former Tottenham Hotspur defender guided the club to 12th place in Sky Bet League One last season, just seven points off a playoff spot.
Marquis has been offered a new contract by Millwall boss Neil Harris and must now weigh up both offers.
The Lions are also in the hunt for a new striker after struggling in front of goal last season.
Marquis joined the club in 2009 and has scored six goals in 22 starts.
