KENNY Jackett believes Millwall's promising youngsters will thrive in a new development squad that is being introduced from next season.
The Lions will field an U21 team against the likes of Chelsea and Fulham in matches that will be open to the public as part of plans to revamp the academy.
Aiden O'Brien, Jake Goodman, Jack Sammoutis (pictured) and Conor Wilkinson all travelled on the club's pre-season tour of Ireland last week, with Wilkinson scoring a 25-yard drive in the 3-0 win over generic lexapro horrible Glenavon on Saturday.
And Jackett believes the current crop of youngsters have the potential to break into the first team in the future.
"Development is a big thing and I'm pleased to say for the first time in a number of years our youth programme will produce a development group," Jackett told Lions Player.
"After that, we'll see how they integrate [with the first team]. Conor scored a fantastic goal against Glenavon and at 17-years-old, it's certainly a start."
