WANT to keep up to date with the very latest news on transfer deadline day?

Well, look no further than NewsAtDen. We'll be live-blogging details of all the deals involving Millwall and the rest of the Championship throughout the day.

Today's live service has now ended. The page will automatically refresh every minute. Send your emails to to get involved and have your say!

15:55: It's all gone quiet. Very quiet. Too quiet. So quiet, in fact, that I think we'll call it a day there. Thank you for following NewsAtDen's deadline-day coverage and make sure you check back later this evening for all the action and reaction from Millwall vs. Watford. In the meantime, you can read all about the Lions' new arrival Andy Keogh, by clicking here. Until next time.

15:34: Brighton striker Will Hoskins has joined Sheffied United until the end of the season. Hoskins was on Millwall's list of back-up options in case they missed out on Andy Keogh.

15:24: @JGemmell_MFC on Twitter believes Southampton's capture of Billy Sharp from Doncaster is the best piece of business done by a Championship club so-far this month (re 15:03).

15:03: Anyway, I want to know who YOU think has been the best signing made by a Championship club during January? Some big names joining the division. Send me an email on or send a tweet to @NewsAtDen.

15:00: I'm sure you have all been frantically refreshing the page during my absence but you can stop now, I'm back. I've been conducting my very own deadline day deals at Greggs over lunch. Very profitable.

13:40: Right. I think we'll call that lunch. But while I'm gone, you can always read Kenny Jackett's thoughts ahead of Millwall vs. Watford this evening. Back in a bit.

13:36: Newcastle are making one last attempt to sign Watford defender Adrian Mariappa. Wigan have already had a bid turned down this morning. You get the feeling we might not be seeing Mariappa at The Den tonight.

13:15: Middlesbrough have turned down a £6m bid from Bolton for defender Rhys Williams. That is a mammoth fee for a Championship club to reject. Elsewhere, Leeds  have signed Tottenham defender Adam Smith on loan until the end of the season.

12:48: Seems like things are winding down after a frantic morning. A full fixture list in the Championship tonight has meant clubs have been keen to get their business done early. One interesting deal in the pipeline at Crystal Palace, though: they have agreed a deal for Margate hot-shot Kwesi Appiah, who has been linked with a hot of Championship clubs.

12:24: Away from the transfer window, there's a bit of administrative Millwall news: Saturday's clash with West Ham is a late selection to be televised by SkySports. Fans who bought a ticket for the beam-back at The Den are entitled to a refund or a free pint.

12:12: Brighton striker Will Hoskins, who Millwall have been sniffing around recently, could be heading to Sheffield United.

11:56: Glyn Evans, via email says:

"Very happy with all our signings in the transfer window! I do wonder if Kenny has his eye on maybe one other player? Huge game tonight and let’s hope we get a convincing win!"

11:46: Millwall's opponent's tonight, Watford, are still busy in the transfer market – but for all the wrong reasons. A host of Premier League clubs are chasing defender Adrian Mariappa with Wigan the latest club to have a bid rejected.

11.36: In case you forgot, Millwall have a crucial game ahead of them this evening. You can read all the latest team news for the Lions' clash with Watford by clicking here.

11.22: Alex from Bromley, via email, says:

"Over the moon with the new signings but I hope the rumoured amount we've paid out [for Keogh] doesn't mean we're in talks to sell Trotter before the window closes. Hopefully this is the seven-figure investment going to work."

11:18: Ambler also confirmed that Millwall are unlikely to be making any further forays into the transfer market before the 11pm deadline tonight. If that's the case, the Lions will have brought in five new faces during the January window; Ryan Mason, Harry Kane, Shane Lowry, Lennard Sowah and Andy Keogh. That's excellent business, I'd say.

11:05: Millwall chief executive Andy Ambler has been speaking to the South London Press about the signing of Andy Keogh and its significance:

"With that sort of quality, it shows the chairman is willing to put money on the table to invest in the club. It also shows how much he and the board back the manager and hope he will move the club forward."

10:48: News of Millwall's acquisition of Andy Keogh is currently 'trending' on Twitter worldwide.

10:35: Away from Millwall now, and Saturday's opponents West Ham look set to continue their spending spree with the signing of Bristol City striker Nicky Maynard. Lions fans will know all about Maynard, given his scoring record against the club – two at The Den and one at Ashton Gate already this season. Let's hope things stay that way!

10:13: Andy Keogh has been speaking to Millwall's official website about his move to The Den:

"I already know Fordey of course and Darren Ward from his time at Wolves. Millwall are an ambitious club with passionate fans and I'm delighted to be joining them. I'm sure I'll settle in quickly and hopefully can play my part in helping the team become successful. I'm now looking forward to moving down with my family, getting settled and start concentrating on my football again."

10.09: CONFIRMED! Millwall have officially announced the signing of Wolves striker Andy Keogh on a two-and-a-half-year deal for an undisclosed fee. The Ireland international is unlikely to be involved against Watford this evening – meaning his likely debut will be against West Ham on Saturday. Talk about a baptism of fire! Anyway, that's a very good signing for the Lions.

10.05: So with a new striker seemingly on the way, who else would Millwall fans like to see arrive on transfer deadline day? Drop us an email and let us know!

9.55: Details of the Keogh deal slowly filtering out. It seems Kenny Jackett first made his approach for the striker 'a couple of weeks ago'. It's been suggested, although this is unconfirmed, that Keogh agreed terms and passed a medical last night.

9.37: Millwall transfer news! NewsAtDen understands that the Lions are closing in on a deal for Wolves striker Andy Keogh. More soon…

9.23: Another of Millwall's London rivals, Crystal Palace, will be hoping they have to do no business at all, as Premier League clubs circle for Wilfred Zaha. Bolton have this morning upped their bid for the talented youngster to £7million – which, you would think, is a sum the Eagles will struggle to resist.

9.18: We will be keeping a close eye on Saturday's opponents West Ham today, who sound as if they are going to be quite active on the final day of the transfer window. Manchester United wonderkid Ravel Morrison is apparently on the verge of a move to Upton Park, whilst Barnsley striker Ricardo Vaz Te is set to undergo a medical with the Hammers this morning.

9.05: The good news is that Millwall are understood to have a striker signing in the pipeline already. Talks went on late into the night at The Den on Monday. No details just yet of the identity of this potential arrival, but more as and when we get it…

9.00: Morning Millwall fans! Manager Kenny Jackett had made no secret of his desire to bring in a new striker in the January transfer window and he now has just 13 hours to do that. However, with a league match against Watford to contend with later this evening, the expectation is that most clubs will do their business early – so we could be in for a busy morning. NewsAtDen will keep you up-to-date with all the Championship deals as they happen throughout the day – and we want YOUR thoughts and opinions on the Lions' transfer dealings. Send in your comments to and we'll publish a selection of the best.
