As it happened: Millwall 1-3 Sheffield Wednesday

FOLLOW live team news and match action as Millwall face Sheffield Wednesday.

Lions boss Ian Holloway felt his side did everything but score as they drew 0-0 with Fulham on Saturday.

Millwall have kept four clean sheets in their last six fixtures so it is at the other end of the field purchase brand name lexapro where they need to improve against the Owls.

@JonnyBanks: That's the first time one of my comments has made it onto the Live Update Board. Not only is this a proud "print it and put it on mums fridge" moment for me, I am hoping it's a good omen and gets us a resounding win without any drama.

@Longfield Lion: I always go to midweek games as I still work in London although I've had to move out. Tonight however I've decided IH has made me so angry on the train home on the majority of occasions this season, I've stayed away too. That loon needs to go. If we win tonight it won't make much difference. We'll lose the next few and maybe pick up a point or two before we go down. Absolutely hate what he has done to this club.

1st half he was knocking the ball down and picking players out with little knock ons like Hoff should be, was unlucky not to score and would have been a great goal. You can see has has good vision and brings other players onto the game. Gayue useless needs too much time on the ball can't cross can't take anyone on think he gave the ball away every time. 2nd half shocking never seen the den pty so quickly. Hopefully JB watched and will make the changed.

So sick of this, what is the point of footballers who get paid but can't score? It has been so obvious we need a striker and but rather than pay up the club have signed has beens and nobodies?!! Prefer up see Marquis in the shirt, at least he knows what it means to play for Millwall. Bring him and Fred back Holloway!!

We're going down the board has known for 3 seasons we need a quality prove nstriker, so they opt for the cheap options who are not fit can't get in there current squads because they are to old, they have wasted our budget on a squad that is to big and give money to bench warmer wage thiefs, I'm now looking forward to league 1 it makes it less painful slim down the squad play our youngsters and win some games again.

When we get relegated I can't see us ever getting back into the Championship it needs big investment and we just can't compete their are bigger clubs historically that have gone out of the football league and I can only see us going the same way unless we get major money didnt want to say this after seeing wall in all the old four divisions from 1965

Could the last couple of Holloway supporters do the decent thing and stop posting your s***...you truly do the club a disservice now. If a bit of support on here, resulted in a demo to get the clown out we may save ourselves a year or two in the wilderness. How thw plum will laugh at us when he writes his memoirs and does the talk show rounds.....been going for over 35 years , not again while he is there.....even if by some miracle we stay up. When I was younger in the clubs and bars of the OKR he would have got a proper pasting ......I dread to look at his excuses tonight.....where else can he go with them....embarrassing.....palace got rid of him just in time.....unluckily for Blackpool they never...the bottom of the table says it all

@The Roar: Mate we have to laugh at this shambles otherwise it will drive us mad. Let's face it we appear to be going down with a clown in charge. It's got to the stage where the spin and pathetic post match ball oaks have become almost entertaining in a sadistic way!

Zero ambition in a promotion push. Zero real ambition with regards to staying up despite Andy Ramblers constant spin. The GTF signing tells us that. We are signing league one players to play in league one for a reason.

What a joke! That's us down and we deserve it. We haven't been able to score more than one goal all season. Holloway can't get any tactics right. We might as well play the youth team. As usual a disappointing and gutless display.

To be honest I'm a big holloway fan and I don't normally s*** him off after a bad performance or a loss but shurley enough is enough. He's gotta go. Everybody likes him because he's got a good record of getting clubs out of the championship into the prem but lets not forget he's got a record of getting relegated aswell.

I think as a mark of respect to the club Holloways post match comments should not be published on here tonight

It is so sad and embarrassing that our Mlllwall has been dragged down to this level. I never liked Holloway's appointment in the first place, he was all mouth and trousers at Palace and lost the confidence of the team. I went with the flow for a few games but soon lost confidence in his tactics and selections. He always sought excuses for poor performances rather than his own selections and tactics. He either conned that chairman or the latter was badly wrong. Ambler also should take responsibility.
We need a Millwall man back in charge or someone who knows the club and its loyal fans.
I would like to see Alex Rae and Tedd Sheringham at the helm. That will not happen but Holloway has to go and I hope before Saturday.

That might be the most expensive goal ever scored at Millwall....because surely if we finished 3 nil then that is Ollie gone and then perhaps some chance to avoid the drop into obscurity. But no - now this will be touted as a sign of improvement... "we scored against the best defence in the league which shows we're on the right track..." or some other waff. Utter madness the total ineptitude from top to bottom at this club. We're so amateur its beyond comprehension... how has JB made any money in his career when he allows an investment to be run like this?! Shocking stuff. The writing was on the wall at Ollies first press conference. "They told me I was their plan A, their plan B and their plan C".... I'm sure that's true - because they can't think - they have no imagination - and to have any plan, let alone a plan B and a C is totally beyond them. So fed up I want to fckin cry. The best fans in the world deserve so much better than this. And I'm so glad I decided not to go tonight. I salute those that did... I just can't afford to pay for this kind of torture.
Without a change -we're going down. Warburton or Redknapp please.
For the record - I love Ollie.... he's a misfit manager for a misfit club and I wanted it to work - I really did. But the record is what it is... there are lots of reasons - but as a manager, you cannot expect results without being consistent in your tactics and team selections. We are not Chelsea with a world of talent to pick and choose from week in week out. So, it's not smart or evolutionary to manage in that style in the Championship. You pick players with the biggest hearts - and pick them week in and week out - and you'll be there or there abouts come the end of the season. There is no Diego Costa in our league - there is no Messi... winning is done by wanting it more than them. Every tackle, every loose ball, every 50-50.. and I feel for the players - the pressure on them at the Den must be immense... please god give us a goal and god forbid, a win.... and what does he do... play one up front. It must be so demoralising for the back end of the team to try and hold it together - which they've done quite well lately - to see the forward play stutter and fart its way to nothing time and time again. I've been going to the home games all season - I can think of just one actual clever goal opportunity that we created, that wasn't some "lump it in " scramble cr*p.
Sorry for rambling on... just got so much I want to say.
Shall we set up a crowd funding page... buy our club and run it properly.

@Mullwall: just a small point, whilst one up front we played them off the park and battered them to a nil nil at half time.

Conceded a goal, then pushed players forward and conceded another two.

Yeah we've seen it all before, yeah Ollie keeps making the same mistakes, but your assignation is a little harsh.

We should have been four nil up in my reckoning before conceding.

Your post and my mood would have both been better.

@tonytowneronthewing: Working so could not go tonight but Holloway was never the right man for the job. He has an appalling win ratio across his career (c26%). The way he left Palace shows his mental state and the way Pullis turned round the same squad players showed just how useless Holloway is as a manager. He should not have been appointed, should have been sacked in November and is completely responsible for this shambles. When he leaves Millwall he will never work in football again.

I don't know, what do u say. Change changes, tinker tinker, panic . Pick a f***** side n stick with em, let em get confident in what's going on not change every hour. they say hoff has now joined the longest injury list in the history of sport. Jfc, who's responsible for injury prevention n management? I always believe the coaching dept and support staff know what's best and are privy to things the normal supporter is not aware of but s***, this is a frightening pattern forming. Maybe the players are in total bliss and confident with IH, but ffs if ya not boys and it's just not workin out go down the passage, knock on JB,s door and get this sorted ASAP.
