GARETH Ainsworth heaped praise on Millwall loanee Fred Onyedinma after he scored a second match-winner in as many weeks for Wycombe Wanderers.
Onyedinma headed the only goal of the game against York City on Saturday to keep the Chairboys at the summit of the League Two table.
And Ainsworth said: "Fred puts defenders on the back foot.
"His individual performance was great but he opens the pitch up for other players because defenders are worried about his pace in behind.
"It was great to see Fred popping up again. He's come from a big club, he's only just turned 18 and I'm sure there was a bit of apprehension about him coming here.
"He's scored two in two so I'm sure those feelings have gone. When he sees his name in lights, that's even better for him.
"Fred doesn't know how good he is and that's his huge trait. He's such a humble guy and I'm so pleased for him."
Onyedinma will spend the rest of the season with Wycombe.
