Keogh: Partnership with Henderson can replace Kane's goals

MILLWALL striker Andy Keogh believes he can form a profitable partnership with Darius Henderson up front next season.

Keogh scored ten goals in 18 league appearances for the Lions last campaign following his January move from Wolves, but enjoyed his most successful run of goalscoring form alongside Tottenham loanee Harry Kane.

And while Keogh admits Kane's departure is a blow, the 26-year-old insists Henderson's return to the Millwall side will be a welcome boost.

"Harry and I bounced off each other last season, he made it really easy for me to get into good positions on the pitch," he told the Southwark News.

"He's got a very bright future ahead of him. But Darius is a very good player with a good track record, so there's no reason why we can't have a similar partnership."

Henderson did not train well last season and has the Court case hanging over him. Kane is a different player all together. His mobility and running on the ball secured several of the goals he scored.
