Holloway hoping Millwall click in final third at Bournemouth

MILLWALL boss Ian Holloway hopes his forward line will be firing on all cylinders against Bournemouth tomorrow.

Holloway says the Lions have been working on their play in the final third ahead of the trip to the south coast on Saturday.

Millwall saw a lot of the ball at Charlton last weekend but created only a handful of chances.

"There was lots and lots about last Saturday that I was pleased with," Holloway said.

"We had everything bar a goal. I thought we played really well – we looked composed and moved the ball around

"We are working on some different things with the forwards to get them linking a little bit better. There can be an extra layer in there.

"We need to feed the ball to Ricardo Fuller in a different way and get some more movement around him. There's plenty of coaching that I can do.

"I am really looking forward to the next few games. All we need to do is score at the right moments. There's no reason why we can’t go to Bournemouth and beat them."

The Cherries have been on fire this season and are just three points off top spot.

"Bournemouth are a really good side," Holloway added. "The way they pass the ball is very impressive – they are as good as Derby. They move it around really well.

"Eddie Howe has improved that squad and they're definitely a club on the up in terms of what they can pay people. Eddie's done a great job."

We didn't make much noise at the Anoraks place last week, so i can't see us making much of a racket up there.

@jcmfc1967: How about Lee Gregory? He is young and scores goals but not for us because he has no help and is used as a winger.

I hear they have found Lord Lucun. He was playing Centre forward for Millwall. No one knew he was there.

We need to feed the ball to fuller says Olly, How can we do that when he is on the subs bench? Play 2 strikers and we might score a few goals. Fed up with all the talk and promises and f*** all to show for it.

This will be much tougher than last week.

How many changes this week mr H?

The defence kept a clean sheet so I'll guess at 1 or 2 if wilkinson is back from his ban.

Bound to leave out upson as he had a reasonable game last week.

And I reckon he will start fuller.

All in all 4 changes to the team last week I'm guessing.

The only way to gain confidence and get the players to improve on last week is to let those eleven who started last week, start again tomorrow.

I can only hope mr H stops tinkering - PLEASE!
