CHARLTON top-scorer Igor Vetokele could miss the south London derby tomorrow.

The Belgium-born striker has hit eight goals this season but will face a fitness test before Saturday's clash at The Valley.

"Igor is still struggling a bit with his calf," said Addicks boss Bob Peeters.

"We will assess it on Friday and see whether he will be fine for Saturday.

"It will be a blow [if he can't play], but it is one game of football and we will not risk losing him for six or seven games.

"He is too important for us and we need to manage him.

"Hopefully he can make it, but if he doesn't then we will play another player up front and hopefully he can do the job as well."

@block 28: I care. Hopefully they're not bluffing as we can do with all the advantages we can get tomorrow.

Would be great to see him declared then get clattered. Not like the anoraks would see it as they'd be drowning in their own dribble pits

Hit him early on and hit him hard. Aim for the calf.
