Five things we learned from today: -
    1. Ollie’s not as clever as he thinks he is
    2. Experience alone doesn’t make you the best manager (just ask Warburton)
    3. We’re still crying out for a decent centre-forward
    4. Charlton away might not be as easy as usual
    5. It’s going to be another awful relegation fight this season

    What did I learn?
Warburton has been in charge of his team for about the same time as Holloway. One team was coached, structured, well organised and every player knew their role. The other was a shambles who like they have never played together before (perhaps that’s because the team changes every week)
One manager puts it all down to not being fit enough when the reality is they’re not good enough.
There were two centre forwards on the pitch who played in the conference last year and one should still be doing so.
The best centre back on the pitch was discarded by one team.
Only two of Holloway’s 11+ signings are good enough to play in the Championship. Who says so? Holloway himself as he has ever only ever started two of them (Williams and Edwards) regularly.

yesterdays first half was the worst i'v seen us since Lomas. I'm not calling for ollie's head (yet!) but i thought his team selection was a joke. We've been begging him to play two strikers at home but he has persisted with one, the he decides to play 3!!! leaving us over run in midfield. He had clearly had a good look at Brentford and new exactly how they played, quick passing game all on the deck, u cant play Shittu (bless him) against a team like that, it was embarrasing, a disaster waiting to happen and it did! When Mcd came on we were better, team actually had some shape. Cant fault the boys spirit but that wont be enough to keep us up. Strange the is if our finishing had been half decent we'd of won the game, two dire misses from the big fella (he's crap) shocking miss from Dunney and hit the bar. But the truth is we were totally outclassed and over run. PAINFULL.

Five things we learn't about yesterday.

    Ollie's a Clown

Shiitu should never have been matched against Gray

    Briggs is pony

    Gueye is the new Trotter

Brentford players and coaches where to a man better than ours.

I must jump to Briggs defence again, Isaid this after the Cardiff game he runs that entire left on his own, no left of centre mid and no left sided forward, I'm not saying he isn't pony but he needed some help, there is no balance to this team, play a boring 4-4-2 for the next 10 games home and away and get back to basics. Briggs might be ok with someone actually in front of him to overlap and cover if he goes forward.
Second half when I had right mid in front of me you could see Dunney had an outlet in Martin which was missing on the left

Very good blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers? I'm hoping to start my own website soon but I'm a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I'm completely confused .. Any ideas? Thank you!
