Wilkinson to miss three Millwall games after appeal fails

ANDY Wilkinson's red card appeal has been rejected.

The Lions had sent evidence to the Football Association which they said showed the right back had been wrongly dismissed against Blackburn on Tuesday.

Replays showed that Wilkinson's tackle on Ben Marshall was one-footed and that his studs were not raised.

But Millwall's protests have fallen on deaf ears and Wilkinson will now serve a three-match suspension, starting against Brentford this weekend.

Well there's a surprise , didn't expect anything else, the F A are as corrupt as the cheats they send to ref our games, if you can call them refs.

It's clear for everyone to see it is not in anyway a red card. Yet the panel decide otherwise, what a surprise! As far as I'm concerned the FA can f*** right off and we'll continue play against cheating referees week in week out.

Corrupt/bent/two bob officiating. The FA need to look inwards at themselves here! After Saturday I didn't think it could get any worse! The worrying thing is that Booby Madley was so poor he makes Darren Deadman look good. Darren Deadman makes the colour of s**t look good! The whole thing stinks... And I can smell the bulls**t from here!

It's obvious that if your foot is lower than your opponents it is a foul and sending off, I think this may start a already ongoing vendetta with the refs and decisions we have......:-( still 3pts on Saturday coyl

FA probably didn't even look at the evidence otherwise they would have had to rescind the decision. Sadly the FA aren't interested and will always defend the refs. Trouble is the Referees and the FA don't have to answer to anyone and unless the incident is shown 20 times on Match of the Day or Mourinho or Wenger & co publicly berate the officials they will stick to the decision.

Football is run by The Premiership and Sky and the FA just stand there waiting for their cash cow to crap money. The FA see us and the Football league as an irritant. The Premiership is their priority.

Rant over and although The FA are not bent or corrupt they are certainly governed by Sky and The Premiership.

We should tell the FA to f**k *ff and apply to join the French League.

If Berwick, Cardiff, Swansea, Wrexham and Derry can play across footballing and national borders why can't we?

FA stands for F*** All when it comes to my beloved Millwall.
It's very simple play harder from when we kick off.
When the whistle blows its 12 against 11.
It's a known fact that the we Sweet FA from the FA so why am I not surprised.

No one likes us we don't care!
But we do Cate about the Millwall community, charitable causes such as Prostrate Cancer, saving Lewisham A&E and Hedley Court.
I was there on Tuesday night and the fight back was better than the Wolves game.
I walked away happy because of the fighting spirit that was shown by the players it was truly unbelievable 10 against 12!
I only comment on games I go.
It does my brain in when people jump on here half way through a game effing and blinding about Ian Holloway and the players when they're not even at the game!
Because if you were at the game you would be watching it cheering on the mighty Lions rather than texting!
I'll get off my soapbox now.

We need a win in that fantastic kit that you will wear with pride on Saturday.
I spent 6 years wearing camouflaged gear all over they world so I'm sure you can manage 90 minutes in Bermondsey for a good cause?

@DELBOY64: to be honest the atmosphere was a little flat.and the game was getting a bit stale..until mr dead-man got the ground going with a string of s*** decisions.then he really fired everyone up with the non foul..then he had thecheek to turn on our management(barstard)..and to see the wal turn on him and get 2 goals was great.

        @Jim28:
How about when Fuller done his back in, then went off the pitch to get treatment then shouted to the ref twice that he wanted to come back on, then he ran back on, all of a sudden the ref sees him, stops the game, then books him for running back onto the pitch before being signalled that he can return to the field of play.
The FA are fully aware of what Ollie could do with a committed team, so a booking here and a sending off there is their hidden agenda from Millwall getting anywhere near the playoffs and our days out!
The players need to get round their heads that they need to play twice as hard for this club for two reasons.
        1,The fans demand it
2 The establishment do not want Millwall to succeed

@Jim28: yeah that terrible decision did fire us up. This is such a blatant travesty I find it hard to see a plausible explanation that DOESN'T involve illegal activity by the FA.

I've always thought the song was wrong as it let's refs off for being incompetent when they are clearly cheating.
It's not we always get s*** refs for me it's ' Bent refs, we always get bent refs ' .
This would show that we are not stupid and we all know what there up to.

This is a total disgrace. I was at the game and when the tackle happened it didn't look like a sending off at all. Seeing the replay I'm even more convinced that it was a perfectly good tackle. Marshall didn't help rolling around either. He wasn't hurt as he was up a minute or so later running around. While the FA hate us and will never give us anything, you have to look at the players and benches reaction which contributed to that diabolical decision. No excuse though, it should be rescinded.
