These stats reflect what I've been looking at on the BBC website all season. Time after time we've been statistically better than the opposition yet finished up with a draw or a defeat. It's been mentioned in a lot of other threads, but the two keys to changing this to wins are 1. learn to defend set-pieces (we've conceded next to nothing from open play) and 2. bring in a striker who can convert more of these chances into goals. With that, we could be more than comfortable in this division.

@Mick M: I think Gregory could be the striker given a run, we will soon have the option of Ranegie to provide the big target man upfront but with Fuller we do have a willing worker who last night kept the ball to lay off the pass for the first goal and proved against Wolves he can still put it in the net. He might want to go to a longer stud so he keeps on his feet a bit more though. I still think it is all coming together, the goals we concede, although a bit to similar are something that can be addressed on the training field. I like most of us would like to see a more settled team but I think we just may have to put up with Ollie's system as he looks unlikely to change.

@lennie the lion: Wouldn't disagree with any of that, Lennie. I would still like to see Ollie bring in another striker as back-up to Fuller, simply because he tires during the second half and is maybe better off used as an impact sub with another one supporting Gregory from the off.

Shaun must be on O'Neill's radar he has been consistently brilliant since he came here and if you look at his stats every week they are getting better definitely our best player at the moment with McDonald and Martin close behind. NOLU WDC
