IAN Holloway says Lee Gregory now believes that he "belongs" in the Championship.
Holloway has seen Gregory grow in confidence since he scored his first goal for the club against Birmingham last month.
The 26-year-old ex-non-league star led the line for Millwall at Derby before the international break and Holloway was impressed with the striker's display.
"He had none of those horrible moments where his touch looked nervous," said the Lions boss.
"He looked like he believed in himself and that he belongs at this level.
"Once you've scored a goal, all that pressure you've been putting on yourself as a striker is gone. All of a sudden he feels the part and looks the part.
"And against Derby he played up the middle on his own.
"He isn't the biggest bloke in the world but I needed him to chase and run. He did that fantastically well."
