Preview: Millwall vs. Blackpool

MILLWALL will add Mathias Ranegie to their squad for Blackpool's visit to The Den.

Ranegie joined the Lions on loan from Watford yesterday and is likely to make his debut for the club at some stage during tomorrow's Championship contest.

Manager Ian Holloway will restore a number of first-choice players to his line up, having made wholesale changes for Tuesday's Capital One Cup defeat to Southampton.

But Jack http://vhealthportal.com/product-category/osteoporosis/ Powell and Richard Chaplow are hoping to be involved again after impressing against the Saints in midweek.

Nicky Bailey and Ed Upson will not return from injury until after the international break.

Gary MacKenzie, Jacob Mellis and Billy Grant are all sidelined for Blackpool, while Joan Oriol is struggling with fatigue.

Jose Cubero is awaiting a work permit and is ineligible.

If we cannot beat Blackpool then we are going to struggle.
Hoping for a much more attacking performance tomorrow.
    3-1.

Haven't scored 3 in a match since Blackpool last season, reckon we'll do it against this mob tomorrow. 3-0.

@Millwall Moss: Probably a good thing we're not feeling as cocky as before the game last weekend. Despite all their problems, Blackpool haven't been embarassed yet and Riga is no mug. We should still win tomorrow, but we'll have to work for it.

This season was the first in many many years when I was really excited about how well we might do.
Before the slip up last week against Rotherham, everybody was full of expectation.
So we slipped up.........not the end of the world..........did anybody really expect us to go the season unbeaten ??

So Blackpool tomorrow...expecting a really positive performance and a comfortable win....
If we get it together...we could beat Blackpool handsomely and send out a warning to the rest of the League.....

so lets get behind the team like we did at Fulham.....
rather than bitching on about this that and the other......

@eio: Well said mate. I'm going for 2-0 Lee Martin 1st goal. I wouldn't mind seeing Chaplow instead of Mcdonald with Williams in the centre of midfield and Jimmy protecting the back four and give Powell a run out in the 2nd half. NOLU WDC

@eio: falling into the same trap as those who thought we would roll over Rotherham.

I expect a tough game today from a team desperate to get a point on the board.

If last season taught us anything it's the teams we should be able to beat that we end up struggling against most.

It seemed every post last week completely ignored and discounted Rotherham ,yet they were big strong well organised mothers, and could break. Blackpool have started poorly so will come here ,get behind the ball and frustrate us.unless we pass it quicker and speed up our attacking play they will be comfortable defending against us and we could see another game where we huff and puff but don't look like scoring. Right now I would take 1-0 cos we don't look like we'v got goals in us.

Hope it's a very uncomfortable day for Blackpool and they can't wait to get the f*** out back home with their tail between their legs and the sound of no one likes us and we don't care ringin loudly in their ears.

On a different note did anyone read the article on the youth academy in the Southwark news. Two youngsters gain England recognition one a keeper!! Maybe have a weekly spot on this site about the academy?

We couldn't beat rotherham so whoever thinks this is an easy game needs their head tested.
Those days are over in this division, we could still go down as they could so I take no result for granted anymore.
It's a game we should win to keep the revolution going but if we lose it could start a bit of a panic .
    Important league & I'd love a 1-0 win.

Any win will do today. 10 points, international break, regroup for a tough couple of months coming up.

I'd like to see Williams instead of Beevers in defence. Play Chaplow with Abdou, and try Woolford more central, where Mac plays. When Chaplow plays we are a different team, he reads the game better than anyone, if I was Ollie, I'd do a Ledley King at Tottenham with him, and let him have all training sessions off, and just play him in games. Big game today, the most important stat will be-how many shots on target we have.
