WATFORD'S chief scout has criticised Ian Holloway after the Millwall boss signed striker Mathias Ranegie on loan.
During his time as Crystal Palace manager, Holloway was outspoken in his disapproval of the Hornets' use of the loan system.
He said that by borrowing players from their sister clubs, Granada and Udinese, Watford were exploiting a "ludicrous" loophole in transfer regulations.
Ranegie joined the Lions yesterday on a short-term deal that runs until January.
But scout Filippo Giraldi tweeted: "How funny is life someone complain about your policy and then after 12 months come back to you, using what they supposed destroyed football."
The Hertfordshire club's head of recuirmtnet added: "Good luck to Mathias Ranegie on his loan spell @MillwallFC. Come back stronger big man we wait for you!"
