MILLWALL winger Hamer Bouazza could be playing in the Europa League next season if a proposed switch to Cypriot side Omonia Nicosia goes through.
Reports in the Mediterranean claim Bouazza, who last week turned down a move to Algerian outfit USM Alger, is at an advanced stage of discussions with the club and could sign within days.
Bouazza had previously declared his intention to remain in England but the lure of European football could be too much to resist.
The 27-year-old has been given permission by boss Kenny Jackett to find a new club after the pair fell-out, and the Algerian international's contract at The Den is likely to be cancelled by mutual consent as and when he agrees terms elsewhere.
The former Fulham and Watford midfielder has a year remaining on his current deal but the Lions want to cut their losses – and save over £200,000 in wages – as soon as possible.
