MILLWALL boss Kenny Jackett believes Millwall can use their FA Cup replay with Southampton as an opportunity to swell the club's coffers.
Darius Henderson's late goal in a 1-1 fourth-round draw with the Saints secured Jackett's side a replay at St. Mary's, where a win would earn the Lions £90,000 in prize money.
"For us, there are financial reasons why we want to stay in the cup," he told the club's official website.
"The game looked like it was running away from us so to have a replay in a bonus. We have another crack of making it through the fourth round at St. Mary's.
"We made a good start but didn't take our chances and allowed Southampton to get a goal against the run of play.
"I thought after that we went quite flat – both the players and the crowd. In the second half it was a bit bizarre because it was so one-sided. It was our forwards against their defence. I'm pleased to say we got the goal in the end because we didn't deserve to get beaten.
"We put a lot of good balls into their box but couldn't quite carve open a very organised and resolute Southampton defence. But we persevered and I'm not disappointed with a draw."
