Millwall ban players from Twitter

MILLWALL have banned their players from using Twitter.

The decision comes after Lions defender Alan Dunne was hit with an FA charge for "improper conduct" on the social networking site.

Manager Kenny Jackett has spoken in the past of the dangers of his players using Twitter, and has now decided to ban them from using the service altogether.

SEVENTEEN first-team players at the club are registered on the site but will now be forced to discontinue buy discount lexapro their accounts at the request of the club hierarchy.

When asked about Twitter, Jackett told the South London Press last year: "Players have to realise they have a responsibility to the club which pays their wages. All employees have to protect and preserve their club's reputation."
