Millwall defender hit with FA charge

MILLWALL defender Alan Dunne has been hit with an FA charge in relation to comments made on Twitter.

The Lions defender has admitted a charge of improper conduct and could now face a fine. The FA say the right-back is in breach of Rule E3.

As Dunne has requested a non-personal hearing, only written evidence will be considered by the FA's disciplinary commission.

West Ham striker Carlton Cole was hit with a £20,000 fine and warned about his future conduct after admitting a similar charge in April 2011.
