MILLWALL will kick-off the 2014-15 Championship campaign at home to Leeds United on August 9.

The Lions' first five league fixtures of the new season will be against: Leeds United (H), Fulham (A), Sheffield Wednesday (A), Rotherham United (H) and Blackpool (H).

Kenny Jackett will make his first return to The Den since stepping down as manager when the Lions host Wolves on October 18.

Ian Holloway's side will travel to Carrow Road on Boxing Day to face relegated Norwich City before hosing Bournemouth two days later.

There is to be no New Year's Day fixture this season, meaning the Lions' first league clash of 2015 will be away to Blackpool on January 10.

Millwall's final home game of the season will be against last season's losing play-off finalists, Derby County.

The season will conclude on May 2 as the Lions travel to Molineux to take on Wolves.

Millwall's final five fixtures of the season will be: Watford (H), Wigan (H), Cardiff (A), Derby (H) and Wolves (A).

London derbies against Charlton take place on November 22 (A) and April 4 (H), whilst Fulham travel to SE16 on Februaury 21.

@Jim28: My point with Leeds is that with this appointment there will be a lot of unrest and turmoil at the Club.So could be a great time to play them first game.

A couple of tough away games in the opening five fixtures, but a good time to play Fulham. As for the first three home matches all very winnable, so here's to a good start and get some early points on the board.

Speaking as a non-driver entirely reliant on public transport the last thing I need is a match against the train-spotters that I can't actually get cos there aren't any poxy trains! I miss quite enough home games already through weekend meetings. So a game I wouldn't go to anyway sounds just fine to me.

We need to be out of relegation trouble by the end of March this year looking at the run in. Sorry if that's half-empty and not half-full but until I see a top notch centre back and fast pacy forward signed I am holding on to my worry needs.

I don't think you could have picked a better first game. Leeds at best will be rebuilding, at worst in their usual turmoil! And what a cracker for our growing contingent of Yorkshiremen. Beevers, Webster (if he signs of course) and Gregory will be well up for this one. Let's hope our good record at home to Leeds continues and we start with a win in front of a packed house. Fulham away was always a bit of a bogey ground for us but can see us getting a good result there too. That run-in could be tricky though!

First two games are not easy, especially snotty Fulham, Millwall needs to strengthen up a bit more yet.
Hopefully this will inspire the management to do just that.

Got to say Tim Cahill, Millwall legend. Anyway wondering why I've put that now just see his goal against the Dutch. What I would give to have him back at The Den.

Just seen one of SE16's finest, score a goal as good as you'll see in any World Cup, get him back Millwall, he'd score a few and pass on effort and passion to the rest of the squad.
