CARLOS Edwards has completed a permanent move to Millwall.

The 35-year-old joins the Lions on a one-year deal from Ipswich Town following a successful loan stint at The Den last season.

Edwards had told NewsAtDen that he was desperate to extend his stay at the club and now terms http://www.buycheap-pillsonline.com have been agreed to keep him in SE16 for next year.

The right back told the club's official site: "To stay up was great and now I'm delighted to be joining the club on a permanent basis and really looking forward to next season."

The bar is set high now. Only sign players (like Carlos) who are committed to putting in 100% every match without question and are established in the championship. Can't wait to see who else we get.

@1980wall: carlos is a good player for his age no more senior players lets get more younger players who can give longer service to our club, to many wage thieves signed up for us last season most of who were way past their best.

Although we all want to see younger players sign for Millwall, it is important to have one or two older heads in the side. Carlos fits the bill perfectly and deserves his contract.

brilliant news! I hope he plays as well next season as he did while he was here at the end of last.

clearly a player with brains and a bit of class on the ball which we desperately need at the back!

Brilliant, i don't think it was ever in doubt though. Just had a peak on the Twitter feed about this story and didn't see one bad work about Edwards from any Ipswich supporters. Always a good sign.

That's what i was thinking, there have been loads of players who shine during a loan spell then sign permanently and give up.
You get that in all jobs though, guys here pass probation period then drop the effort.
I think Carlos will be an exception

@br00ker: I think what Ollie has instilled is that he's not one for players showing a lack of effort. In an ideal world, there is serious cover for all positions. In the world of Millwall, we have, or will have, players that can cover more than one position.

If you have no preference or loyalties and was offered the chance to play for 2 teams in the same division say Watford and Reading both 2 year deals but Watford offered you £5k and Reading £2.5K week, both have a similar chance of success what would you pick?

Our only weapon is Ollie and hope they buy into his vision and forget about wages.

Great news, showed his worth with us and 100% deserves a deal (happy with a year thou due to his age) talking of new signings it looks like Zamora might be leaving QPR...... Any thoughts on trying for him (except what he might want paying a week)

If Dunney's established himself alongside Beevers as 1st choice centre backs , we can wave goodbye to Robbo and Shittu. Edwards however , is a really good , lively right back and at his stage of career playing there suits him down to the ground.

Well, got to say I'm quite happy considering what he put in to get this contract.
but I remember a certain kim grant putting similar effort into a loan to gain a permanent contract,
not putting them in the same bracket but ipswich have deemed him surplas to requirements and if we're honest that's a club we have to emulate in the coming season.
I do like carlos as he proved to be the most technically gifted player we had last season and for his age which I laughed at when he signed, he also proved to be the most fittest.
I really hope it proves to be a resounding success and hope we sign a gifted young "en" to cover him.
good luck carlos, you certainly deserve it.

Can't believe people some times, the good thing is about the decision shows we've made a purchase based on what we need rather then settling for what's left on the market. I can't remember the last time we've signed someone shortly after the season has finished. Well done wwwwwaaaaalllll we've all done it over the years looking at everyone around us buying this and that player but we do nothing until everyone is in boot camp, which means who we want has already gone. Right or wrong?

In line with others it's not about age it's about attitude and there are plenty of good, honest vet's out there. Hopefully this is the exception rather than the rule for our summer signings though. He got a contract on the basis of an eight game trial so does this mean Dunney gets a year in his new centre half spot?

Excellent player, bit of class and rapid, if I didn't know his age I would have been well wrong with a guess. Looks fitter and a lot quicker than most 5/8 years younger. Usually when we take someone on loan we gotta spend a good month or so just getting em fit to play for 60 mins. This fella arrived slimmer and fitter than anything we had playing for us. Top pro
