MILLWALL have announced that tickets for the final game of the season against Bournemouth on Saturday have now sold out.

There will be no sales on the day of the game after the remaining 1,000 tickets for the home ends were snapped up during the course of Friday.

Around 1,200 Cherries supporters are expected to attend the match, ensuring there will be a season-high attendance at The Den.

Victory for Millwall will see them avoid relegation from the Championship.

@billymillwall: We have been round and round in circles over this on here EVERYTIME we get a big crowd in!!! The regulars moan when they don't turn up and they moan again when they do!!!! Why don't we save our energy for the game and scare the life out if Bournemouth?

@JonnyBanks: I understand what your saying but the 10,000 that turn up week in week out are the true fans who love there forever millwall like I moved to Wales and spend around £100 a month to see them !! Then you get THE PAPER FANS that turn up who ant bothered win draw or lose !! But yet ME and the 10,000 that go feel the THE LIONS IN ARE HEART GOOD AND BADS TIMES

Any frustrations today should be taken out on Bournemouth and no one else. I hope it's full of SUPPORTers today and not fans. Let"s stick with them for 90 minutes. If we do we will blow them away. After all we should witness the final part of the great escape.
I love you Millwall I do. Oh Millwall I love you.

This feels more like a promotion game to the Championship than a relegation one and that should be the positive mindset the players should have. I like it to be a similar scoreline of the 2001 Millwall vs. Oldham Title winning game in front of a full house with the atmosphere created similar to the Huddersfield play-off game... See you all at the match!

I just dreamt the whole day. Donny won 3-2, we drew 1-1 and Bolton got a late winner. We're in for a bumpy 90 minutes guaranteed.

Game sold out - So will we see 20,000 in the ground - our apparent capacity? Allow for some unsold seats in the away end (time to move away supporters by the way) and we would expect 19,000 wouldn't we? So why will it be under 17,000 today? Mr Ambler please explain.

@Glasshalffull: my money is on the police saying under no circumstances do you let your supporters anywhere near the away fans, due to the magnitude of the game and what's possible.....

@Glasshalffull: it's to do with police numbers if it goes over a certain figure they have to get in a load more old bill and that cost more than the profit they'd make out of the extra couple of thousand..... We that's what I heard

@Glasshalffull: the away end is 3500 isn't it - they have sold 1200 so that is 2300 away from 20000 straightaway - 17,700 max

More nonsense on here about part time supporters, we have a core support, always have and always will. Once upon a time I was part of that core support and at times it wasn't close to 10,000. Like a lot of true Millwall fans my life moved on. Rather than moan, why not just celebrate the fact that we have a full house today and that, if we stay up, some of those that come today might join or even rejoin our core support and this can only be good for the club. If I ever move back to or near London I know where I'll be most Saturdays!
