OLDHAM winger Chris Taylor is set to sign a one-year deal with Millwall on Thursday – and boss Kenny Jackett believes the winger can make a "fresh start" at The Den.
Taylor, 25, has spent his entire career so far at Boundary Park, making 254 appearances and scoring 33 goals for the Latics, but has decided to quit the club at the end of his current contract.
And Jackett believes the Lions can capitalise on Taylor's desire for a new challenge.
"He's played a lot of games at League One level and he's now looking to step up to the Championship," he told the club's official site.
"For various reasons laparkan.com/buy-sildenafil/ he's made the decision to leave Oldham and hopefully we can be the ones to capitalise on that by giving him a fresh start at Millwall."
Taylor is expected to become the club's second signing of the week, following in the footsteps of wing back Scott Malone, who signed a three-year deal on Tuesday evening.
"We need to shape the squad up for next season," Jackett said. "You always have to be aware of the market and working towards bringing in good players that can create the type of competition.
"I felt last year we were short down our left side last season, and Scott and Chris will give us some freshness and some options."
